Cancellation Policy/No Shows Policy: We require a 24-hour cancellation notice for any date changes or cancellations, on service reservations under 2  hours.  We require a 48 hour notice on all service reservations of 2 hours or more.  We know life can be unpredictable, so we allow up to one cancellation without proper notice being given although, will require a credit card (to be kept on file)  on all future reservations thereafter and any further improper cancellation will result in a charge of 50% of the service. If you fail to show or cancel your reservation after your scheduled time after the 3rd incident, it  will result in being charged the full price of the reservation. Should you cancel  any part of your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a 50% fee of canceled service does apply and will be due before a new appointment is scheduled. Canceling part of your service or reducing your service time must be done in the same cancellation window of 24 hours or 48 hours for 2+ hour reservations.

Appointment Deposit: All color and Cezanne services needing 3 hours or more will require a 50% deposit to guarantee your service and will be deducted from your future appointment.

Children: We love children and are happy to service children with the complete supervision of a guardian.  However for safety reasons we cannot allow children under the age of 12 to wait in the salon while a guardian is being serviced.  

Punctuality:  Time is valuable to all of us.  Punctuality is a necessity for all reservations.  Please arrive for your appointment on time so that you can experience your reservation to its fullest.  Otherwise, your services may be reduced or canceled.

Cell phone use:   Cell phones must be kept on silent. With respect to all, we ask that you refrain from using your cell phone in a manner where it is disruptive to the stylist and the guests in the salon.  In the event you need to receive an important call, we ask that you excuse yourself and take the call outside. At no time do we allow a call to be answered on “speaker”. If the call becomes lengthy you may need to forfeit part of your service to allow your stylist to stay on time. 

Reservations:  Appointment reservations are strongly recommended.  To ensure that you have the time you desire, we recommend you pre-schedule your next appointment prior to leaving. Pre-scheduling multiple appointments is most beneficial to you.  Our appointment book allows us to schedule a maximum of three months out.  Due to high demand we cannot honor standing appointments.  For those clients who are unable to book an appointment at their requested time, we offer a cancellation/waiting list.  In fairness to all of our guests, we operate on a first come first serve basis.  

Our Service Guarantee/Return Policy:  

HAIRCUT GUARANTEE:  Our haircuts are guaranteed within one week of receiving your service, with the purchase of recommended home maintenance.

CHEMICAL PROCEDURE GUARANTEE:  We guarantee all chemical hair services within one week of receiving your service, with the purchase of recommended home maintenance.  

RETAIL GUARANTEE:  All products, except makeup are guaranteed for exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase with Salon Élan receipt.  Returns after 30 days will not be accepted.  We can no longer accept returned makeup.    

Payment:  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Salon Élan Gift Cards, A+  Reward Certificates, Cash and with identification personal checks.  There is a $20.00 charge for returned checks.

Gift Cards:  Gift Cards may not be redeemed for cash value.  Gift Cards must be presented at time of redemption. Salon Élan is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards.  Gift cards expire 7 years after issue in accordance with MA laws.
